Richard K. Wagner, M.D., FACOG



Dr. Wagner is a partner with Mid-South Perinatal Associates and director of perinatal services at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He received his fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.

He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.

Most recently, he held the position of Assistant Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Darnall Army Hospital in Texas. Dr. Wagner is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists where he served on the Committee on Obstetric Practice and the Donald F. Richardson Memorial Prize Paper Awards Committee. He is also a member of The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. Dr. Wagner is a published author of numerous articles and abstracts.
